On the 10th November, John Lewis released their new Christmas advert which follows a young boy and a monster under his bed. The simple story cost roughly £7 million to produce and was directed by Michel Gondry, director of 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind'. The money would have probably been spent on the CGI used for the monster, the director and also the music. The video was created to appeal to all audiences as it features elements that will focus on different ages. The video also interacts with the viewer as it features a hashtag, giving them the option to share their opinions on social media.
